Verified ReviewerI keep trying to renew at the promotional offers they make to everyone. It was $12/year in December. Now it’s $24/year. Mine runes out just before the last season if Outlander begins.

Outlander is the only dhow I watch on Starz. I want the same offer ther are offering everyone but when I chose the $23/year option they swiped my stored credit card for $69!
What a terrible company! I always have trouble actually getting to the place whrre I can watch. All kinds of hoops to jump through!
After they said sorry to see you go and I tried to start over though I have several weeks left, they grabbed $69 from my stored credit card (which I did not authorize they store).
I want my money back and a new subscription for $24/year. I am at the end if a $12/year 2nd renewal now!

I was billed on 2 accounts. Different emails.
I had no idea this was happening until December 2025 when I called my bank about the transactions. A $25.99 Starz charge appeared on my account. It has taken 8 attempts to get this resolved. If you call too many times and opt for a callback, they will not call this phone number back or they hang up.
Not one customer service representative, if that's what they call themselves, attempted to find either one of my accounts. I did not order quarterly billing. In December, I called customer service and I was refunded $25.99, but I'm still owed $39.99. I was told I was refunded the only amount of $25.99, but your company owes me for the stress, the rudest employees, and stealing customers' money.
Unbelievable. What a terrible way to treat people who give you jobs.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. This refunded to account I used to pay. Keep sending emails they will respond, but I think the responsed my pissed consumer post.
Well, I had the subscription but never was able to access STARZ via television or phone. I attempted to call 10 to 12 times with no response via phone or email. I canceled before it renewed, but was still charged. I have attempted to contact them for three months.
Still no return messages or calls from STARZ. The renewal fee of $75 was taken from my card, and I still cannot get access to STARZ. Customer service still has not responded.
It's a rip-off. They do fraudulent procedures to get customers because they know customers would not pay for subscription renewals.

Do what ever you can to contact the company. Start a dispute through your financial institute. Don't give up and don't cancel the dispute.
Their shows and movies are the worst! I got a notice I was renewed and immediately canceled my subscription. I contacted my CC company to pause the charge and they let it go through after I was told it would not go through. I checked back a week later to see my subscription was to end the next year!
I called my CC company back again and learned I was given the wrong information. I called Starz customer service and my subscription was canceled. I received 2 emails, one saying my subscription had been canceled and one that stated the refund was complete. None of that was true!
I called back to be told I would receive an email from billing.
I will continue to call every week to get my money refunded. I doubt that will happen since everything else has been an outright lie!

Chat restores take too long to get a response, then the program easily gets disconnected. The phone service number is difficult to find and only available a few hours a day for the East Coast.
The TV app won't give me the option to sign in, so I opened new accounts. I now have paid twice this month plus have a third account on a 7 day free trial, which will then make me pay 3 times.

I complained through pissed consumer, but never heard anything from starz. I finally called on my own and had to wait 20 minutes to speak to someone. Even then I didn’t get to Satisfactory solution to my problem.
I thought I was already subscribed to STARZ. However it wont let me in so I put in my email and my password its still asked me for a different email and a different password over and over again, and I simply cannot get in!

You created the chaos and subsequently your own stress. (which btw if $25 and $40 charges cause stress, maybe remove streaming a premium channel from your wish list)
